Gift Annuity Maximum Rates

Covenant House follows the maximum annuity rates recommended by the American Council on Gift Annuities. These rates are traditionally reconsidered every three years. The rates are based on the age of the annuitant(s) on the gift date and provide a fixed dollar amount to the annuitant(s) for life. At these maximum rates, it is expected that one-half of the original gift value will remain for Covenant House after the annuity expires. To have a greater amount remain for Covenant House, a donor can select a rate lower than the maximum.

Ali's Story

"Living on the streets will break you down mentally if you're not strong enough," says Ali, a Covenant House resident. "It's hard to even find a place to rest your head without any worries."

It was while on the streets that Ali first encountered one of our Outreach vans. And Ali says he's a better person as a result. "I'd probably be in jail if not for Covenant House. You lean towards doing desperate things if you're homeless. It's the only option you have. Covenant House kept that from happening."
